SunPower Senior Software Development Engineer in Philippines

SUMMARY OF ROLE

SunPower is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer. The primary role is to deliver and perform development tasks and coordinate with implementation partners, IT managers, stakeholders, developers in providing solution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, test, and implement applications.

  • Integrating with other systems

  • Training, documentation, and support

  • Ensures that the applications behave as designed.

  • Troubleshoots bugs, fixes defects, and supports users.

  • Develop work flows and scripts to personalize existing applications.

  • Design and build scalable solutions.

  • Solving complex problems in a highly dynamic and agile environment

  • Strong focus on code quality and reusability

  • Performs other development tasks as instructed by the manager.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or other related field. Preferably an IT graduate

  • Work Experience: 6-9 years’ work experience in Success Factors Suite modules including administration, configuration, development, advance reporting, and integration with other applications.

  • Skills/Competencies: Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies and experience in software development in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of coding languages (JSON/XML,HTML/CSS,SQL, Web Services, SOAP, and REST).

  • Experience in configuration for Success Factors Time Management, WFS, D2P and DECS applications.

  • Experience with integrations through Success Factors API, Success Factors Integration Center and BOOMI is preferred.

  • Experience in managing the BOOMI integrations configuration between Success Factors, DECS and Payroll systems including Web development using PHP CodeIgniter and MSSQL database.

  • Familiar with using Jira for task prioritization and operating within the sprint cycle.

  • The candidate should have a strong understanding of business processes, the ability to display outstanding problem solving, teamwork, technical decision making and conceptual skills.

  • Expertise in gathering requirements and translating to Functional specifications, creating, test cases and conducting Unit Testing, integration testing and assisting UAT testing.

  • Candidates should possess the ability to adopt new technology concepts and willingness to learn to support HR applications.

  • Success Factors, Integration Center, BTP and BOOMI certification are preferred.

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Candidate should possess the ability to collaborate Enhancements & Projects with Technology teams and HR stakeholders.

  • This is an FTE position.

  • Candidate must be willing to work in Binan Laguna

  • Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines.

  • Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays)

  • Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region.

  • Candidate must be willing to work on rotating schedules and days off.

  • Candidates will be on flexible work arrangement (combination of onsite and remote work) (if applicable depending on the nature of the job).

  • Tool of Trade: Laptop/Desktop, Extended Monitor, Headset (as needed)
