Oracle Business Analyst 3-Ops in Romania

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you enjoy solving problems and digging into details to find insights that guide business decisions? We are looking for an energetic Business Operations Analyst who will continue to drive excellence as part of our EMEA Data & Analytics team and help drive key initiatives for the company. In this role, you will analyze business trends, present your findings to management and use your eye for business to solve problems, make recommendations and optimize business processes.

Responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain high-level knowledge by staying ahead of on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across lines of business. Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers and associated risks and opportunities.

  • Prepare and review relevant operational and financial analyses comparing actuals to forecasts and trends over time. Understand and create schedules that bridge these scenarios.

  • Assist with the operational and financial presentations to executive management and the preparation of quarterly reporting schedules. Provide periodic and ad-hoc analyses and reporting in support of executive management.

  • Assist with other special projects, including system implementations and standardization efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSc or Bachelors degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance or other quantitative field with 5+ years relevant work experience.

  • Passionate about defining measurement frameworks, data visualization, and reporting to guide business growth and outcomes

  • Able to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data to create useful information and concise analyses.

  • Able to effectively lead projects; results oriented with a “roll-up the sleeves” attitude in order to accomplish necessary tasks.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms and a high level of proficiency in Excel and SQL

  • Able to identify and prioritize multiple requirements and handle expectations accordingly

  • Able to effectively communicate with upper management and build strong working relationships with other operational and finance teams as well as offshore resources.
