SHI Inside Sales Manager - Asia Pacific in Singapore

Job Summary

SHI has an exciting opportunity available as an Inside Sales Manager supporting APAC territories, a mix of global, strategic and enterprise commercial account sets in the Inside Sales Department. Working with our Sales Leadership, Internal Support, and our Training and Development team this individual will lead a team of inside sales to drive revenue growth through effective communication and ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support, training, and guidance to the International inside sales team

  • Delegate, coordinate, and supervise inside sales activities and responsibilities

  • Monitor employee performance and attendance records

  • Assist in the development of SHI’s World Class Support policies which promote good customer relationships

  • Arrange and schedule necessary training for inside sales

  • Investigate and resolve non-routine customer requests

  • Point of contact for customer and/or Account Executive escalations

  • Evaluate and improve inside sales and administrative processes

  • Track monthly metrics, provide reporting, and maintain team specific documentation

  • Work in conjunction with senior manager, and global team to develop, implement, and monitor customer specific information and procedures

Qualifications

  • Completed a university degree or its equivalent (all majors considered)

  • Experience in people management

  • Sales or Customer service and/or customer facing experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in CRM, Dynamics AX, SharePoint, BI tools

Required Skills

  • Well-rounded working job knowledge of hardware/software/licensing products

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and effectively work well with employees

  • Possess an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude about to grow an SHI market segment with great potential

  • Ability to discipline behavior that is unacceptable by SHI's policies/standards

  • Ability to provide leadership and an example to employees of being an outstanding inside sales and SHI employee

  • Exhibit high level of confidentiality with employees and management
