Reporting to the Senior Manager, TTH Sweet Goods Application for Asia Pacific, the Sweet Goods Application Technologist will lead the technical support of health and nutrition briefs from across the region. These briefs will span across the segments of dairy, plant proteins, confectionary and bakery. The technologist will need to build a strong understanding of the taste and nutritional ingredients portfolio as well as, support the development and deployment of growth initiatives to customers across the region.

Your key responsibilities

• Work in the exciting world of flavors and taste in the Taste, Texture and Heath Taste Sweet Goods Application lab in Singapore, alongside a cross functional team of flavor experts.

• Lead the technical execution of flavor briefs across the Sweet Goods segments (Bakery, Confectionary, Dairy and Plant protein), with focus on confectionary.

• Support Health, Nutrition and Care projects in benchtop application work related to dietary supplements and medical nutrition.

• Leverage on the Asia Pacific taste and nutritional ingredients technologies and portfolio when developing formulations

• Support the development and deployment of growth initiatives from an applications perspective

• Connect and communicate with key stakeholders

  You bring

• Knowledge of the Food, Food supplement or Pharma industry, Food ingredients and Flavors

• At least 5-10 years of experience in Food / Flavour Product Development

• Ability to influence others and synthetize information

• Experience in project management, rigorous, with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional communication, autonomous, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to take initiative

• Technical education in food formulation or flavours
