Generac Power Systems Channel Marketing Manager - Consumer Power in Waukesha, Wisconsin

The Manager Channel Marketing – Consumer Power is responsible for leading, developing, and executing comprehensive B2B channel marketing strategies with our sales managers, dealers, installers, and distributor network. This role will lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and work closely with marketing leadership to achieve business objectives.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic channel marketing plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team and to curate and manage the dealer/installer network experience.

  • Drive the development of compelling marketing communications, collateral, presentations, and promotional materials to inform, educate, engage, and support channel partners.

  • Conduct in-depth market research, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and ensuring a competitive edge in the industry.

  • Provide advanced training and support to channel partners, ensuring a deep understanding of our product portfolio, platforms, and programs.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and vendors including trade publications and creative vendors building plans, negotiating agreements, and optimizing mutual success.

  • Analyze and report on the performance of channel marketing programs, communications, promotions, assets, and media presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align channel marketing initiatives with overall company goals and strategies.

  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Experience developing and managing Marketing Development Funds or Co-Op Fund programs and budgets preferred.

  • Lead and mentor a team of B2B channel marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to optimize team performance

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field

  • Certification / License

Work Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in product management, marketing, brand management, or similar experience, including supervisory level experience, project management and/or responsibility for critical initiatives.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.

  • In-depth understanding of marketing principles, industry trends, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and strategic planning.

  • Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.

Preferred Job Requirements

Education

  • MBA is preferred.

Work Experience

  • B2B Marketing experience.

  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Familiarity with solar +battery or another clean tech.
