Job Description :

Business Partnership

'• Business partnering with Cluster Head and commercial team to drive profitable sales and net revenue management

• Preparing Monthly Operational Reviews and driving collection and profitable sales mix

• Advise in developing strategic business priorities/ goals including function-wise business plans in alignment with business plans for the organization as a whole

• Provide sound financial analysis (including ad-hoc analytics) on performance of the various teams and propose action plans and alternatives (if required) to improve continuously

• Advise and support leadership in defining standards and policies

• Lead projects within the supporting functions, especially projects related to streamlining and/or improving processes and systems

• Understanding excise policy and driving pricing decisions

Enhanced delivery of financial services

• Accounting of trade spend, local marketing spend and overheads

• Monthly closing and reporting

• Coordination of audits and resolution of queries

• Responsible for leading budget planning of respective business partnered functions

• Responsible for supporting the function heads on key decisions and matters impacting the financial performance of the function

• Act as a trusted business advisor providing data-driven insights and challenge decision making from a finance perspective

• Ensure enhanced financial performance vs. forecasts and better financial-commercial decision making

• Engage with senior leadership for operating budgets and plans

• Drive exceptional quality standards by focusing on enhanced delivery of business partnering services to the functions

Governance & Compliance

• Customer reconciliation and resolving disputes

• Credit Management in complex RTM through various initiatives

• Managing accounts receivable and improving DSOs through collaboration with commercial team

• Ensuring compliance to Credit Policy including building and sustaining Good Governance in highly risky market

• Manage issues to mitigate impact and risk by early involvement

• Guide resolution of issues and proactively create an environment where risk is avoided

• Champion the embedding of a compliance culture within USL


• Compliance to VAT laws and drive productivity of VAT Abatement Project

• Net Revenue Management (NRM) including driving profitable sales mix and prudent trade spend management
