It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely for three (3) or more days a week and will share a hoteling workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
About this Role:
The Corporate Audit Services Internship Program is designed to provide current college students or recent college graduates with exposure to an internal audit function and the banking industry. The program runs for 12 weeks at a full-time capacity, with the potential to extend to part time throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Responsible for assisting with audit testing in support of the audit plan, while gaining experience in internal audit methodology and risk management.
Develop a knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidance applicable to the banking industry.
Work collaboratively with various individuals in Corporate Audit Services.
Coordinate or complete special projects as assigned by manager.
Participate in summer corporate internship program activities such as educational workshops, social events, and community outreach.
Enrolled college student working towards a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related field.
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after sophomore year.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Above average administrative, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and multitask within a professional environment
Ability to conceptualize risks impacting the financial services industry.
Banking industry knowledge or experience.
Ability to work full-time during summer (with potential to extend to 15-20 hours per week during school year).
