Molina Healthcare Program Manager, STARS & MMP Quality (REMOTE) in United States

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Responsible for the development and ongoing management of STARS and MMP Quality with related projects, programs, and initiatives. Active collaborator with people who are responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products through the design process to completion.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going programs and ensures business controls are in place to monitor outcomes and ensure programs meet their stated outcomes

  • Regular tracking and reporting of program status to internal business partners and executive leadership

  • Assess business and operational needs for opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and accuracy.

  • Works with operational leaders within the business to provide recommendations on opportunities for process improvements.

  • Serves as the liaison and point of contact between the program functional area and the business.

  • Maintains program compliance with respective government and regulatory agencies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

REQU I RED ED U C A TI O N :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQU I RED E X PE R I E N C E:

  • 3-5 years of Program and/or Project management experience.

  • 2+ years of Medicare experience

  • Proficient in MS Office applications

  • Demonstrated process improvement, root-cause analysis, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes.

  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and leading/facilitating improvement efforts with leadership and cross functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Experience partnering with different levels of leadership across the organization.

    PR E FE R RED ED U C A TI O N :

    Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    PR E FE R RED E X PE R I E N C E:

  • 5-7 years of Program and/or Project management experience.

  • Experience with MMP Quality Withhold program and reporting requirements.

  • Managed Care experience.

    Experience working in a cross functional highly matrixed organization.

    PR E FE R RED L I C E N S E, C E R TI FI C A T I O N , AS S O C I A TI O N :

    • PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and/or comparable coursework desired.
