As the Senior Category Manager (m/w/d) for HR in Group Purchasing, your role is to ensure high stakeholder satisfaction by acting as a Purchasing Business Partner for Group Functions and Divisions for the HR category spend.
What is the job about?
You will work with the HR category and play an active role in procuring a range of services such as employee benefits, HR consulting, learning and development, payroll, recruitment, temporary labor and mobility to name a few.
You will be located with Group Purchasing in Wahlstedt , where you will join Indirect Purchasing. You will be part of the Purchasing CoE Professional Services & Travel team with colleagues in Denmark and Hungary.
Your tasks
Responsible for global HR category management, working closely with the Category Buyer, Regional Category Managers, and Purchasing Specialists
Develop the HR category strategy in alignment with the Purchasing COE Head for Professional Services & Travel and senior business stakeholders
Utilize Ariba for efficient category management, driving sourcing events, contracting, and developing buying channel strategies
Utilize data and intelligence to generate insights and opportunities for strategic projects.
Stay updated on market trends and developments, understanding their impact on Grundfos
Manage the development, implementation, and alignment of global and regional sourcing strategies
Plan and execute tenders, negotiations, and contracting
Optimize supplier portfolio, ensure contract compliance, and leverage volumes across Grundfos
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and influence sourcing requirements
Act as a Purchasing Business Partner for Group functions and Divisions in the HR category spend
Develop supplier relationship management frameworks for mutual goals
What we expect from you
Minimum of 5 years of experience in indirect Purchasing
At least 3 years of experience in managing HR category spend at a Regional or Global level
Subject matter expert or keen interest in developing expertise in purchasing of HR services
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international matrix organization
Proven track record of delivering results through strong collaboration with stakeholders.
Fluent proficiency in the English language is required for this position
Willingness to travel for business purposes. Expect approximately a couple of trips per year to one of our office locations in Europe to meet with suppliers, stakeholders, or attend industry events
