Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep and maintain tools in accordance with specified guidelines and procedures

• Accurately follow work instructions

• Perform Composite layup such as: Carbon Pre-Preg, Carbon Fibers, Kevlar layup, Fiberglass and Hand Layup

• Trim excess materials from molds, using hand shears or trimming knives

• Perform part build-up free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voids

• Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visually

• Understand and complete internal and customer required layup documents

• Record information on appropriate production records, logs, and other report forms

• Perform re-work as required

• Clean and reseal tools using the appropriate release systems

• Be aware of FOD and Tool control at all times

• Continuously demonstrate commitment to the highest practicable safety and housekeeping standards

• Repair defective products rejected by inspection or test personnel

• Participate in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role

• Other duties as assigned
