The luxury resort community of Wailea includes a 1.2 mile-long oceanfront beach path connecting five crescent-shaped, golden-sand beaches, a premier shopping center and distinguished restaurants.

The Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage Recreation Services will assist in the oversight of the food and beverage and pool recreation services within the hotel. This position allows for great growth and development by being able to work in multiple outlets and venues across the resort. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage Recreation Services must have strong communication and analytical skills.

The salary range for this position is $56,800 to $72,000. Decisions regarding individual salaries commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Full Time Assistant Management Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule

• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast paced environment

• Refined verbal and written communication skills

• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point of sale systems

• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized

• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills

• Requires license certification to Sell/Serve Alcohol

• Hotel experience and a thorough understanding of food and beverage service preferred

• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred

• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service
