Company DescriptionJob Description JOB DETAILS 1st Shift:Monday-Saturday 6AM-2:30PM Pay Range: $22-$26 per hour DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Team Leader will lead the manufacturing team in the Glass department. They will giving daily direction, ensure proper training of associates, and ensure associates are working safely, following all quality requirements and all hourly targets are adhered too. Train others using the "tell, show, do, review" methodology Complete daily paperwork, calculate and post metrics on line-specific boards Present stand up meetings on the line, demonstrating an understanding of metrics, goals, and how each employee contributes to the bottom line Read and explain policies and procedures related to each position on the line Demonstrate a track record of safe work performance Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed Monitor and address quality related issues Conduct daily audits Ensure standard work is updated and followed per work station Work with maintenance to address equipment issues Be engaged in the PDCA process Foster and embrace STOP, CALL, WAIT methodology Attend/Update Tier 3 meeting in absence of Supervisor Communicate respectfully and build a motivated, energized team environment Embrace a diverse culture Qualifications Must have an understanding of how the line runs, what problems the line could and does encounter, and how to resolve such problems Must have problem solving experience Must have basic computer skills, Excel, PowerPoint Must know the required PPE for each job on the line Must have satisfactory attendance record Preference forexemplaryattendance To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Experience in manufacturing or installing windows preferred Manual dexterity required for operating machinery Must be a "team player" This job requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Must be able to pass a background check Additional Information Site Address: 30499 Tracy Rd Walbridge, OH 43465 Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
