What youll do

In your User Assistance role (technical writing), you will act as the link between our customers and our cloud application development teams. You are responsible as a knowledge multiplier for all reusable software, processes, and frameworks we deliver.

In our team, you will be part of our User Assistance (UA) developer team and will learn about our daily work in the software development environment. We want to increase the findability and quality of our UA deliverables to have the best user experience by using a more people-centric and task-oriented approach.

Furthermore, we need to spread UA knowledge in our development unit via different media and want to enhance our UA content with infographics and videos. You can be a part of our committed UA team within this exciting UA journey and support us in achieving our goals. In our team, we practice a trust-based working model and an open mindset.

What we offer

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university (for example technical communication or a related subject, such as languages, translation, or media and communication studies).

  • Preferred fields of study: Technical Writing, Media and Communication

  • Computer skills: XML, MS Office, Wikis, Graphic or Multimedia tools

  • Language requirements: Excellent written and spoken skills in English, German is a plus

  • Structuring skills: Advanced writing and structuring skills

  • Interest in learning: How to create videos, author blogs, newsletters, manage communities, graphics, or multimedia assets

Meet your Team

We are a team of 24 highly motivated authors and translators, all working for the latest products within SAP ERP Digital Supply Chain. Our team is spread across different locations such as Germany, Hungary, India, China, New Zealand, and Canada.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
