We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the team at the Delta Hotels By Marriott at Waltham Abbey .

The Role:

As Food and Beverage Manager, you will lead the operational and financial success of the Food & Beverage operation including Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Conference & Banqueting to deliver a memorable guest experience. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will do whatever it takes for your team to succeed and create a one of kind experience. You will be required to manage, train, and develop Heads of Department and work within budgeted guidelines.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage departmental managers and support with the recruitment and training of the food & beverage team

  • Work within budgeted guidelines for payroll and consumables

  • Drive sales to maximize budgeted revenue

  • Ensure incentive plans are in place for team members to maximize sales and revenue

  • Evaluate guest satisfaction, recognise success and action plan for continuous improvement

  • Review monthly P&L statement for departments, identify opportunities cost saving

  • Work with the Finance Manager to forecast monthly sales and costs

  • Work closely with all departmental managers to ensure seamless guest experiences across the hotel

  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role within a hotel environment. Experience in coaching and developing team members, driving sales and delivering financial results.

This role offers and annual salary of £38-£40k as well as an annual bonus plan allowing you to earn up to 10% of your salary.
