Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to make an impact by leading a variety of talent development activities designed to build critical functional and leadership capabilities within our Digital and R&D critical capability areas. With a primary accountability to program manage our Digital Leadership Development Program (DLDP) and our Product Engineering Leadership Development Program (PELDP), you will partner closely with various internal customers including the early talent program participants, University Relations, Assignment Managers, Talent Management Leaders and Executive Sponsors as you shape program direction and ensure these programs are delivering high quality development experiences that accelerate participants towards leadership roles. In addition to program management, this role will also focus on enhancing the leadership journeys for all LDP programs by creating and leading our bi-annual learning sessions for LDP participants.

A Day in the Life:

  • Program Management: Lead day-to-day operations of the Digital and Product Engineering Leadership Development Programs including identification and coordination of meaningful and impactful developmental assignments, participant rotation locations, expense and budget tracking; in conjunction with assignment managers reinforce performance coaching throughout entire program life cycle including HR support; influence assignment managers, site leaders and program participants to ensure optimal experiences; make certain all participants are receiving diverse experiences throughout their program.

  • Selection: In partnership with our University Relations team, assess and lead hiring decision discussions from final interviewing events and intern conversions.

  • Learning and Development: Ensure a positive, consistent and cohesive onboarding and orientation experience for all LDP participants. Plan and implement various functional and leadership learning sessions held throughout program life cycle, including impactful career planning and development initiatives tailored specifically to the Digital and R&D population. Build out learning journeys for all LDP participants throughout program lifecycle to include measurements of successful learning implementation; measurably increase the capability of early talent colleagues.

  • Program Graduation and Placement Optimization: Lead all aspects of the off-program placement for respective programs with a focus of filling critical capability and developmental roles in the supported function.

  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with key leaders and sponsors to continuously review and improve program experience and impact; identify, track and communicate relevant key performance indicators to find opportunities to evolve and transform programs.

  • Talent Management: Partner with functional leaders to establish impactful alumni engagement initiatives, including engagement and retention, career planning and monitoring, talent assessments and talent sharing activities.

  • Additional Projects: Lead other key projects relative to early talent development and involvement.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5 -years meaningful work experiences in an HR related field in Talent Management or Talent Development

  • Program Management associated with Early Talent Learning and Development would be ideal

  • Experience recruiting early talent

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Familiarity with Human Resources practices and procedures and experience with employee relations

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Strong business insight with experience in establishing and working with and through key internal and external relationships by building integrity and trust

  • Strategic vision to see the big picture as well as design and implement on details and tasks

  • Strong organization skills with ability to adapt to shifting priorities

  • Ability to prioritize multiple, time-sensitive priorities while focusing on quality of work delivered to key partners

  • Outstanding communication, listening and presentation skills

  • Possess a creative and continuous improvement approach

  • Ability to travel
