Perform administrative tasks essential to the efficient and successful operation of a busy, full service tree care company. Answer business telephone calls. Take and convey messages and respond to voicemails. Open and sort incoming mail and take appropriate required action. Help manage work calendar and arrange service appointments. Apply knowledge of tree services to help prepare estimates, contracts and invoices, based on each project’s size, duration, complexity, personnel (climber, trimmer, grinder, etc.) and equipment needs. Plan and communicate work crews’ daily and weekly work schedule, based on each scheduled project’s parameters. Daily confirm service appointments with customers for the following business day. Perform basic bookkeeping and complete banking transactions. Collect workers timesheets and run payroll. Maintain inventory records and order materials and supplies as needed, based on seasonal needs.Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (5:00 am-1:00pm)Requirements: 2 years of relevant work experience as an office clerk, secretary, or a closely related role, for a treeservice, landscaping or construction business.
