Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The role involves working in the assembly department, specifically in the vinyl room. You will be responsible for various tasks including assembling, palletizing, and packaging shipments. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to use a nail gun, and comfortable with medium to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work in the assembly department - in the vinyl room

• Demonstrate mechanical inclination

• Use a nail gun

• Perform medium to heavy lifting

• Operate hand power tools

• Assemble and palletize shipments

• Package shipments

• Pull, pack, and load items

• Work independently and as part of a team

• Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills

• Maintain a detail-oriented approach

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of light or heavy assembly work in manufacturing

• Experience using a tape measure

• Ability to lift 20lbs to 40lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor and hand tools

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse environment with distinct areas for manufacturing, shipping/receiving, assembly, and testing. The facility is not temperature controlled, so it can be cooler in the winters and hotter in the summers. The workspace is overall clean and large, providing ample room to perform various tasks. You will need to wear casual attire, including jeans and a t-shirt, along with safety glasses and hearing protection which we will provide. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
