The Licensed Practical Nurse provides and directs clinically appropriate patient care to an individual or group of patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

The Fauquier Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 113-bed center located on the Fauquier Hospital campus, offering nearby access to hospital and physician services. Its proximity to and affiliation with the hospital allow a rare continuity of care not found in other facilities. Services include physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation; long term care and respite services.

Minimum Education X Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program (will accept LPN license as proof of completion)
Minimum Work Experience
Preferred - 1 Year Long Term Care Experience.
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills Certifications: X BLS- Required (can obtain during week of orientation)
Required Skills Licenses: Virginia State License as Licensed Practical Nurse or Multi-State compact license.
