EDC LEAP PSE team is a part of the global LEAP PSE group, that provides technical support for airlines and MROs on field engines. We are responsible for timely responding to customer technical inquiries concerning engine work scope recommendations, field hardware dispositions and maintenance documents clarification/interpretation. We are also responsible for managing LEAP Engine Manuals and selected parts of airframe’s maintenance manuals. PSE team supports maintaining reliability and implementing field fixes by cooperating closely with Field Representatives and Customer Support Managers, Systems, Design, Repair and Services Engineering. The very important part of the PSE engineer job is continuous communication with customers, including face-to-face meetings with individual airlines and at larger forums (annual Customer Technical Symposium). We are looking for a team member who will join the team and continue his career as a PSE engineer. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Formulating and implementing plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and commitments.

  • Providing answers/solutions to technical Service Inquiries (SR) and recommending dispositions for hardware in operation via Customer Departure Records,

  • Executing with limited guidance the analysis/evaluation of assigned SR/projects/CDR.

  • Developing action plans to anticipate and respond to field problems.

  • Initiating and executing actions that reduce repetitive field issues,

  • Cooperating with Design, Overhaul Shops and Repair Engineering organizations in solving field hardware issues,

  • Reviewing Repairs and CID documents in approval cycle,

  • Participating in Action Workouts on assigned hardware in overhaul and repair shops worldwide,

  • Creating changes to engine maintenance documents,

  • Managing assigned module (Repair requests/industrialization, spare parts availability, SBs implementation, Leading Indicators)

  • Sharing experience on hardware design and/or repair methods with other team members.

  • Participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews (also outside GE).

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • General knowledge of engine architecture,

  • Willingness to continuous learning and sharing best practices within the organization

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong technical and problem solving skills and ability to reasonably set priorities on assigned tasks
