Citigroup Technology & Cyber Risk: Senior Officer - Program Management in Warsaw, Poland

The Technology and Cyber Compliance and Operational Risk Office (TCCORO) at Citi is the firm’s reliable second set of eyes. Our mission is to drive comprehensive and consistent practices designed to identify, measure, monitor, report and manage operational and compliance risks while promoting the implementation of actions to address root causes which may lead to unintended operational losses or regulatory breaches. TCCORO provides the specialist subject matter experts to challenge Enterprise, Infrastructure, Operations and Technology entities across the firm. We are the technology and cyber conscience of the bank. In line with the Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) frameworks, we aim to ensure that the internal controls that are designed to mitigate technology and cyber risks are managed, mitigated, and aligned with our risk appetite.

You as a Senior Officer - Program Management is part of the Risk Analytics and Regulation Reporting team which serves as TCCORO’s program management and reporting function, deploying in-depth analysis, business process re-engineering, and problem solving to support executive planning, execution, and decision making. The role requires engagement with a broad range of stakeholders and SMEs to support process enhancements in line with our operational and compliance risk management frameworks. A successful candidate will have experience in global financial services and proven expertise in reporting, analytics, and project management. You shall demonstrate a strong interest in risk management.

You will be responsible for maintaining the TCCORO Book of Work (BoW) process, associated reporting and analytics, and coordinating ongoing administrative and governance activities across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Maintains the TCCORO Book of Work (BoW) process, including: executing associated reporting and analytics, and maintaining updates to the procedure documents, User Guides, and related Smartsheet artifacts.

  • Supports the ongoing administrative, program management and governance activities across the TCCORO organization (i.e., staffing adequacy reporting, Documentation Repository Management, Intranet Site Management, etc.)

  • Independently analyzes large and complex datasets to support the design of analytics-driven solutions, including the development of data visualization tools and sophisticated reporting, to enhance senior decision making.

  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of various reporting solutions.

  • Identifies opportunities to enhance and contributes to the implementation of common data and data standards, common processes, and integrated technology platforms.

  • Drives analysis, prepares reports, and develops associated presentations for senior management, stakeholder discussions, and regulatory engagements.

  • Presents findings and analysis in a polished manner that is easily understood by Operational Risk and business professionals at all levels.

  • Executes ad-hoc activities for the TCCORO organization, including but not limited to: drafting materials for presentations to senior leadership, coordinating deliverables related to audits and examinations, and maintaining associated data for executive reporting.

Your profile:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Finance, or related consulting with a focus on data analysis.

  • Demonstrable experience building data models and/or use of analytics tools/applications for more advanced use cases.

  • A penchant for story telling using data and visualizations to socialize findings and insights to key executives and stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to track deliverables, and articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging; developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and potentially convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional stakeholders.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts; capable of navigating ambiguity and problem-solving complex issues in a heavily matrixed corporate environment.

  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and a teamwork oriented approach

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization within and across project teams, functions and business units.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams a plus).

  • Proficiency in Tableau preferred.

  • Degree in finance, accounting, analytics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related data science or finance / economics with relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Relevant certifications a plus.
