We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving our organization's data-driven decision-making processes and leveraging the power of AI technology to deliver valuable insights.

What youll do

• Design and implement machine learning algorithms to process and analyse large datasets in order to validate our data as well as to get new insights into SAPs solutions.

• Apply statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on real-time decision systems.

• Develop innovative machine learning models to streamline the interaction between users and data within the SAP Analytics Cloud. Work on features that brings Generative AI into our data analytics offerings.

• Collaborate on the one hand side with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse large datasets and develop predictive models and algorithms to uncover actionable insights as well as with with data engineers and software developers to deploy and integrate AI models into production systems, ensuring scalability and performance.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and robustness.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of user interactions and model performance continuously, iterating on feedback.

• Engage in knowledge sharing and contribute to the team's collective learning and success.

• Utilize your demonstrated technical experience with foundation models and knowledge graphs to develop innovative solutions for complex business problems.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technology and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate new techniques and tools into our data analytics processes.

• Stay informed about data privacy and security regulations and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

What do you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent

• Fluency in English / German is a plus

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably with SAP.

• Proficiency in database programming and modelling, with a solid understanding of SQL/HANA databases

• Strong knowledge of Python and/or PySpark

• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as SHAP Values, XGBoost, Transformer Based Models

• Experience with generative AI models

• Experience with SAP analytics tools and applications (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud)

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Very good analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

• Interest in learning about the technical context on which our solutions are built

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Meet your team

Our Project: The Harmonized Adoption & Usage Management (HAUM) project builds a bridge between the two organizations - Product and Customer Success. It orchestrates standardized measurement of product adoption metrics for all products and equips customer engagement roles with holistic adoption insights from license consumption (what is used vs. what was purchased) to functional usage (HOW does a customer use the products he is entitled to).

Our goal is to enable holistic adoption and usage insights across SAP to better understand customer consumption. We aim to implement a continuous and sustainable license consumption, functional usage metering across the full cloud portfolio. This way we can ensure that our customers are using the solutions they purchased in the best possible way according to their own business goals and our engagement teams can support with the right recommendations and services to achieve them.
