Eaton Corporation Purchasing Specialist (maternity leave cover) in Warszawa, Poland

The role provides possibility to step into independent purchasing specialist postion. The choosen candidate will gain or develop further skills and competences related to SCM and Purchasing area. Also opportunity to redirect your career based on your experince from customer service, order management, logistics or other relevant areras.

Hybried role, for which candidate needs to be based eigther in Gdansk or Warsaw.

What you’ll do:

The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for the direct supply of material and ordering services for the Poland country sales organization (PL CSO) and will:

o Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders with sales and suppliers to ensure completion of customer requirements. This includes submitting purchase orders, confirming, booking, scheduling, shipping, invoicing, warehouse inbound and other vendor related processes.

o Use corporate methods, practices, and techniques to ensure economical movement of materials through the supply chain.

o Manage transportation arrangements both from / to the vendors and to / from the PL CSO customers.

o Support for customs brokers in activities related to customs clearance as needed.

o Monitor warehousing processes and carry out inventory counts (stock-taking).

o Co-ordinate logistics process with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, services, quality, accounting, product management) and participate in teams to drive best practices across the CSO.

o Maintain required log records of logistics operations and prepare the required KPI (key performance indicators).

o Analyze data and produce required corporate reports to achieve cost-effective logistics operations and inventory levels whilst meeting customer requirements and corporate financial objectives.

o Ensure effective information flows.

o Support compliance initiatives and corporate commodity, logistics and inventory strategies.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree (PL - licentiate degree) or equivalent. Electrical, logistics degree preferred.

o Between 1 to 3 years of related professional experience ( logistics , customer service, order management etc. )

Skills:

o Good communication skills – both verbal and written in Polish and English.

o In-depth knowledge of computer applications and software programs.

o Analytical and time management skills.

o Very good knowledge of MS Excel
