Bookkeeper & HR Administrator nonprofit D.C. area

$100k, plus benefits, flexible work schedule/great work life balance

My client is a nonprofit mission-based organization seeking a Bookkeeper & HR Administrator. The Bookkeeper & HR Administrator will report to the CEO and be responsible for all human resources, accounting, and operations for the organization. The Bookkeeper & HR Administrator will all operational accounting using QuickBooks including, AP, AR, and payroll. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the following duties:

•Responsible for all HR matters, including benefits, employee relations, recruiting, and on-boarding

•Process accounts payable, receivable, payroll in QuickBooks

•Perform bank reconciliations, accounting, grants, collections

•Development and updating of organization’s policies and procedures and oversee implementation of policies and procedures, including the Employee

Handbook

•Develop, maintain, and prepare periodic reports

that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

•Perform accurate and timely Bank Reconciliations.

•Maintaining vendor files and facilities for the organization

Requirements

Requirements:

BS/BA degree preferred

5+ year experience in Accounting/Full Charge Bookkeeping

5 + year experience in full cycle Human Resource duties

Experience in QuickBooks is highly preferred

Proficient in MS Excel
