Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Contracts Manager to support our Federal Contracts Team. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of in-office and remote scheduling and can be based in, but not limited to: Arlington, VA; Washington, DC; Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Contract administration for US Federal contracts and subcontracts where AECOM is the subcontractor,
Data collection, entry, maintenance & analysis in support of various reports, databases, and ad hoc requests.
Will interface with other contract managers and senior members of the department on contractual record keeping, database maintenance, process improvement initiatives, and other items required to support the contract administration function.
Administrative support and additional tasks in support of the above requirements as necessary
Serve as the primary project interface with the client's contracting official where so designated.
Review and approve the application of accurate contract rate data in the preparation of proposal and contract information.
In conjunction with the Project Manager, develop the negotiation strategy and plan/lead, where appropriate, conduct contract negotiations with the client.

Excellent analytical thinking and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrate good working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing
knowledge of government procurement processes and procedures is required
Working foundation or understanding of risk management, assessment, and planning as well as possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills.
Possess the ability to manage and support multiple contract types and task orders concurrently and respond to project/client directives and requests involving financial information, and contract compliance.
Good reading and research analysis skills
Ability to work independently or on a team
Good people skills offering effective customer support and client satisfaction.
Ability to represent AECOM in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + 2 years of Federal Contract administration experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
3-10 Years of experience in related field is a plus
One of the Following National Contract Management Association certifications: CFCM or CPCM
Working knowledge of SharePoint 2016+/O365 SharePoint Online, power BI, and Salesforce
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $66,000.00 - $81,000.00.
