Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Washington, District of Columbia. The role is primarily focused on customer interaction, particularly those on the housing waitlist or looking to apply for the waitlist. You will be responsible for document management and administrative duties in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers who are on the housing waitlist or looking to apply for the waitlist, providing them with accurate and timely information.

• Collect and process physical documents from customers, ensuring all relevant details are accurately captured.

• Update the company database regularly, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of customer data.

• Perform scanning and filing duties, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily retrievable.

• Carry out clerical and administrative duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.

• Handle customer inquiries, providing solutions and escalating complex issues as necessary.

• Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize skills in answering inbound calls, customer service, data entry, and order entry in daily tasks. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in handling and responding to inbound customer calls

• Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service is required

• Proficiency in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Ability to perform order entry tasks efficiently and effectively

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential

• Should be able to work in a team environment and contribute positively

• Strong problem-solving skills to handle customer queries and complaints

• Must be able to handle customer information confidentially and responsibly

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Proficiency in using computer software like MS Office, CRM systems, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a related field is a plus.

• Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
