Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with team in designing, producing, testing, or implementing moderately complex software, technology, or processes, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Enterprise Analytics and Modeling - Software Engineering - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

“Fannie Mae seeks Software Engineer – Washington, DC

•Design and develop complex software solutions using a process-driven approach to meet customer needs.

•Maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing software.

•Perform product testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology.

•Use software and computer systems' architectural principles to integrate various application interfaces, combining data from different data sources/APIs.

•Collaborate with customers to determine their needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

•Implement new software technology and coordinate end-to-end tasks across the team.

•Analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.

•Mentor less experienced team members.

This is a hybrid (work in office and at home) position.

Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Req’d:

Master’s in Computer Science plus two years of experience in software development in financial services industry. Experience must include Python, MS-SQL, Postgre SQL, Shell Scripting, AWS Services (including EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation, RDS, Aurora), RESTful, SOAP, GIT and Jenkins”.
