Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Washington, District of Columbia. This role is crucial in our financial services sector, where you will be responsible for managing and processing employee payroll, utilizing ADP Workforce Now an Microsoft Excel. You will also handle 401(k) - RRSP Administration, Accounting Functions, Benefit Functions, and Check Processing.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of company payrolls on a regular basis

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for effective payroll management

• Regular use of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Administration of company 401K and RRSP

• Oversee various accounting functions related to payroll

• Manage benefit functions, ensuring employees receive due benefits

• Process checks for payments and benefits

• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning payroll

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries

• Generate reports detailing payroll account activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Payroll Administrator.

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Check Processing.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
