Department of State - Agency Wide Program Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary The position is located in the Special Project Division, Office of Real Property Management, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations, Bureau of Administration (A/OPR/RPM/SP), U.S. Department of State. The office of Real Property Management acts as the Department's representative for all domestic real estate activities. Responsibilities Leads, coordinates, implements, and oversees major Assessment team initiatives for Office of Real Property Management (RPM) as they relate to the Assessment team and its duties and work products. Plans, leads, and participates in special studies as part of teams or task forces and provides assessments of potential RPM projects to all domestic Department tenants inside and outside the National Capital Region (NCR). Develops policies, issuances, and directives as they relate to or affect the RPM Assessment team and Special Projects Division. Plans, formulates, implements, and monitors sophisticated management programs that focus on RPM's progress in executing long and short -range plans, implementing policies, and managing programs. Plans, develops, and coordinates management planning through briefings, presentations, and conferences for executive level management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing office space/facility construction documents to include models, drawings, and specifications. Experience with industry standard design authoring software AutoCAD and Revit. Experience managing construction projects and leadings meetings with senior leadership. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position. Education Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement.
