ASRC Federal Holding Company Project Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia

The individual will serve as a Project Analyst within the Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) Program at NASA HQ.

  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, activities, deliverables and presentations in support of the SCaN Program, particularly the Program Resources and Strategic Integration (PRSI) Division.

  • Serves as an interface with resource staff and SCaN Sr. management to coordinate deliverables and actions. Assist in providing project analysis and administrative support, including the integration of various inputs and data sets, producing and maintaining schedules, tracking deliverables and processes. Coordinate with various stakeholders on completing deliverables. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted teams.

  • Assist with the generation and compilation of SCaN presentations and deliverables. Proofread and edit deliverables for consistency, clarity and proper formatting. Generates presentations, charts, graphs, correspondence, spreadsheets and other similar documents related to SCaN activities.

  • Participates in and supports the formulation and justification of the SCaN budget. Plans, schedules and coordinates activities and processes to support key budget activities and meetings such as project and program reviews (attending meetings as appropriate). Participates in the review, revision, and documentation of budget formulation and justification processes and tools.

  • Individual will be responsible for uploading files regularly to a central online repository. He/she will also be expected to use online applications to schedule meetings, enter data, organize document files, track meeting actions and other tasks.

  • Additional projects will involve coordinating issues with government and international personnel nationwide, analyzing data providing statistical analysis, creating reports, producing metrics or assisting with special projects. Assist in tracking budget costs and expenditures in support of the Program.

  • Manage databases and SharePoint site for the business office, develop new modules and pages for the program

  • Utilize action tools and game changing solutions

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task and successfully meet deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Team player as well as able to work independently.

  • Must be U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a government issued Secret clearance.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree is required, as well as 3-5 years’ experience. NASA experience is greatly beneficial.
