Meta Project Manager, Content and Integrity Operations in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

Integrity Operations strives to create a safe atmosphere for Meta's communities by way of outstanding support, education, and care for the various people around the world who use our platforms. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms.We are seeking an experienced self-starter with a passion for mitigating real world harm and protecting our community to join our Content and Integrity Operations Team. We count on our project managers to deliver both qualitative and quantitative insight into user behavior in order to drive prevention and detection solutions at scale. By working cross functionally, we identify and pursue areas for process and product improvement, enabling us to better protect our community at scale. And by focusing on decision quality, we ensure that we are held accountable for our actions. This role will work closely with partners across Security, Engineering, Policy, and other Meta teams to drive operational projects in a fast paced and data driven environment.

Required Skills:

Project Manager, Content and Integrity Operations Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, working directly with global cross-functional teams to implement next-generation community experiences through process, policy, and product improvements

  2. Manage and improve day-to-day operations against quality and efficiency targets in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment

  3. Analyze data to identify user trends and malicious behavior and suggest recommendations to improve operations

  4. Use problem solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems

  5. Lead investigations and resolve issues that are escalated to the team regarding potentially abusive content or real-world threats

  6. Help create scalable policies and processes to solve complex business problems and ensure the safety of the community

  7. Build strong cross-functional partnerships to create better solutions for our community and users

  8. Develop a deep understanding of content integrity issues and how they affect our community

  9. Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material

  10. This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree

  2. 2+ years of experience in an operations, technology, management consulting, or equivalent environment

  3. 2+ years of work experience in role involving strategic/analytical initiatives (project management, consulting experience, data analysis or technical systems) and/or customer operations

  4. Experience communicating with a variety of audiences, including engineering and technical teams

  5. Experience managing and prioritizing projects end-to-end across various stakeholders and functions

  6. Demonstrable experience using sound judgment and exhibiting grace under pressure

  7. Ability to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content.

  2. Avid user of our Meta products

  3. 1+ year of experience working with data tools such as SQL, SAS, and data visualization (e.g. Tableau) tools

  4. Strategic thinker with analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Public Compensation:

$72,010/year to $109,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
