Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SME Acquisition Contract Management Specialist - PD to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Acquisition Contract Management Specialist supports the Government project manager (GPM) through the application of acquisition, contracting, and procurement management expertise across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle framework and stages of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.

  • Support the GPM in identifying opportunities to combine program and or project elements in whole or in part in order to achieve greater cost efficiencies and/or economic order quantity savings for the Government.

  • Assist the GPM by performing market research for potential combining or sharing systems supply chains and/or streamlining for the development of new program concepts for system deployment or maintenance.

  • Assist the GPM in the development of RFPs and the source selection strategy for assessment of associated proposals.

  • Assist the combined system Government program or project managers (CSGPPMs) in establishing project contract structure priorities and associated evaluation criteria.

  • Develop and manage project plans, task trackers and schedules that comply with the program's Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

  • Work with CGSPPMs and stakeholders to establish and monitor the program’s contract development and execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.

  • Serve as the GPM’s technical advisor on the adequacy of the system developer’s execution of contractual requirements related to integrating, testing, fielding, and maintaining combined system logistics and in-service engineering support services in the operational environment.

  • Assist the CSGPPMs in coordinating and establishing the agenda and entrance/exit criteria for contract structure, source selection, and contract execution activities and project meetings(e.g., Integrated Baseline Reviews, Program Management Reviews, In-Progress Reviews, technical interchange meetings).

  • Assist the GPM in tracking project cost, schedule and technical performance.

  • Report information on the status of system developer task order projects, along with any associated modifications and evaluate the contracted system developers’ execution against the established Performance Measurement Baseline metrics.

  • Assist the Government with Congressional, OIG and higher headquarters taskings related to contracting strategy and execution of combined system fielding or maintenance contracts.

  • Assist the Government with preparing SES and higher headquarters level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support system program contract structure recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS

  • 5 years of position-specific relevant experience.

  • Experience in all phases of major systems acquisition, from acquisition strategy/plan development through source selection and system deployment; developed RFPs for commercial, non-developmental, and systems development procurements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
