Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a global team responsible for ensuring optimal availability and integrity of the SAP system landscapes at ZF.

• Development and support of new and existing automation scenarios for SAP hosting e.g. SAP System Provisioning, SAP System Refresh, OS/DB/SAP Kernel patching etc.

• Perform required administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of ZF LIFETEC’s SAP systems.

• Work with and coordinate the activities of third-party service providers (Kyndryl, Accenture, SAP, etc.) where necessary.

• Perform application operations tasks including but not limited to: SAP change and transport management, workload and performance analysis, performance tuning, printers/output device management, SAP system upgrades/patching, system/database refreshes, system integration, and log analysis.

• Collaborate with other infrastructure and application support teams on projects and maintenance activities.

• Act as mentor/technical expert for fellow team members.

• Lead Technical Projects in the area of SAP Basis (i.e. Database Upgrades, SAP Gui Upgrades, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics or similar field of study.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the area of SAP basis administration.

• Should possess good knowledge of SAP system administration best practices, SAP system architecture, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Experience in maintaining SAP system monitoring and troubleshooting different basis areas, ranging from transports to performance analysis, operating system administration (Linux), database administration (Oracle and/or HANA) and dump/log analysis.

• Analytical and problem-solving skill.

• Public Cloud skills (MS Azure) are desired.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision (remotely and on-site) and possess strong time management skills.

• Good English language skills.

• Experience in one of more of the following areas: ECC 6.0, S4/HANA, BW4/HANA, SAP HR, NetWeaver and Solution Manager.
