Eaton Corporation Machine Operator - 3rd Shift in Washington, Pennsylvania

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift. Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Business in Meadow Lands, PA is part of the Commercial Products Group. This facility manufactures and assembles products for commercial electrical distribution.

This position is responsible for begin-of-line inspecting and assembling of commercial electrical products.

The core hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The hourly rate for this position is 19.08 per hour plus $1.00/hr shift differential. The base rate increases after 6 months to $19.40/hr.

What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for begin-of-line inspecting and assembling commercial electrical products.

In this function you will:

  • Operate production equipment including but not limited to welders, presses, and benders according to work instructions.

  • Assemble switch boxes for welding.

  • Inspect finished product for quality per standard work instructions.

  • Put electrical products in appropriate cartons for shipment.

  • Palletize cartons per standard work instructions.

  • Maintain housekeeping in work area.

  • Perform above work on one or more lines.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Washington, PA facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Position Success Criteria:

  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends.

  • Required to lift up to 50 lbs
