Who are we looking for ?

The position is responsible for supporting the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for Element Solutions various businesses in the Americas region. Additional responsibilities will include calculating salesperson commissions under various incentive plans and supporting forecast and budgeting activities. The position reports directly to the Shared FPandA Manager - Americas with a dotted line to the SAS Finance Manager - Americas.

What will you be doing ?
  • Monthly sales and product line reporting and analysis
  • Consolidating, analyzing, and uploading distributor end customer data
  • Calculating internal and external commissions
  • Generating and analyzing daily sales activity for SAS and Circuitry businesses
  • Preparing monthly OPEX variance analysis and assisting with quarterly forecasting activities
  • Maintaining up to date salesperson and territory assignments by business, assisting with product rationalization efforts, and monitoring customer pricing trends
  • Assisting with capital expenditure reporting and analysis as well as other ad hoc requests

  • Data Management - Collects and validates data; Ability to designs workflows and procedures; Understanding and familiarity with various financial statement preparations; Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical capabilities - Has the ability to synthesize information across business verticals and can clearly articulate drivers of financial performance to senior management
  • Intellectually Curious - Interested in learning about the businesses; Willing to not only question and challenge where appropriate but offer insights and solutions
  • Communication - Sets clear expectations and communicates progress; Ability to work under time pressure as well as manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leadership - Effectively influences actions and opinions of others; Accepts feedback from others; Ability to accomplish objectives through others without formal reporting relationships
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of business analysis experience
  • Knowledge in Oracle Planning, Essbase, HFM
  • SAP / JDE systems experience a strong plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, PowerBI experience a plus
  • Ability to perform under t me pressures, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize work appropriately
  • Prior experience in a multinational manufacturing or chemical company preferred
