Job Title: -- General Maintenance Technician

New England Mechanical Services, Inc. is looking for a General Maintenance Technician for one of our customers in the South East CT area. This person will perform general building maintenance, repairs and emergency service according to established schedules, procedures, policies and customer/tenant service requests. Position is M-F.

Qualifications: -- -Must have valid driver's license. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must be able to lift and /or move at least 50 lbs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform general building maintenance

Ability to respond to emergency situations and resolve them in a timely manner

Escort and assist subcontractors in general building maintenance

Maintain safety standards by following all facility and NEMSI policies and procedures

Maintain good customer service and relations

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
