Description

We are offering an exciting Sr. Compensation Analyst opportunity in the Agricultural industry based in Watsonville, California. We are in search of a meticulous and detail-oriented Sr. Compensation Analyst to join our team. This role is focused on analysis and strategic planning in the finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging their expertise in financial systems like Workday and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), using data mining techniques, and managing accounting functions to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Workday and other ERP solutions to design, implement, and manage compensation programs that attract and retain top talent

• Analyze data derived from CapEx and CRM to evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation plans and make recommendations for improvement

• Conduct in-depth data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making related to compensation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive compensation structures that align with organizational goals

• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in compensation management to ensure our programs remain competitive and compliant

• Act as a subject matter expert on compensation matters, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization

• Partner with HRIS teams to optimize the use of technology in compensation administration and reporting processes

• Manage accounting functions, budget processes, and expense reporting with proficiency in Excel formulas and Microsoft Excel

• Implement Workday Financial Management strategies to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques

• Proficient knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Demonstrated understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Budget Processes and Expense Reporting

• Strong background in Finance

• Proficiency in Workday and Workday Financial Management systems

• Expertise in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
