Job Description Summary
Responsible for designing and developing the frameworks and platform for testing the CT scanner software. Responsible for leading the testing team, prioritizing the most important tasks and initiatives for the team, and ensuring that team members are able to be effective. Works independently and contributes to the immediate testing team and to other development teams across the business. Contributes to quality engineering discussions.

Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, improve, and expand the existing testing platform and frameworks
Understand system and subsystem requirements in order to develop effective tests
Prioritize tests and initiatives that will provide the biggest impact
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Scrum and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process
Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning, and testing methodology for a software project
Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 4 years of experience
At least 3 years of experience developing software in an object oriented programming language (e.g. Java, Python)

Desired Qualifications:
Has extensive experience in test automation (e.g. Squish, Selenium)
Has experience and ability to write scripts to automate test execution and integrate into DevOps CI pipelines (e.g. python)
Has experience in testing web services & RESTful APIs
Has experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems (e.g. Clearquest, ALM, Rally)
Has experience working in Linux/Unix
Has experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure
