The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
As an Enterprise Account Manager for a Financial Services, you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting the entire AWS products and services portfolio to Enterprise Customers.

Key job responsibilities
Understanding industry trends and applying these to develop a comprehensive account plan for select FSI Enterprise customers in NZ and owning the execution
Ownership of key customer relationships (C-Suite/LOB and Technology) and orchestration of a virtual team
Work to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services to help enterprises transform
Ability to prioritise and take ownership
Experience managing complex customer engagements, setting a compelling vision
Experience leading and orchestrating multiple partners to extend reach and drive adoption
Experience coordinating multiple members of the sales team dedicated to a particular account or program, Solution Architects, Technical Account Managers, Professional Services, Specialists, Industry Business units etc.
Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies
Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business
Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects and commercials with large FSI customers
Business acumen to comprehend customer strategy and industry business drivers
Demonstrated initiative, creativity

You will work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust building a deep understanding of how to meet the needs [met and unmet] of your customers, and their end customers. You will work with and orchestrate engagement with AWS stakeholders [Executives, Business Development, Solution Architects, Professional Services, industry SMEs] and Partners to compel customers to migrate, modernise and innovate on the Cloud.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
8+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing detailed go to market plans
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
