Provides leadership of nursing administration and other departments by having accountability and responsibility for fiscal, quality and safety, and other identified outcomes. Works in coordination with the Chief Nursing Officer on assigned projects (i.e. strategic planning, nursing specific initiatives). Represents the Chief Nursing Officer as appropriate. Maintains positive relationships with leadership of area schools of nursing, with the goal to provide pertinent clinical rotations in our hospitals for both RN and LPN students. Facilitates the hiring of graduates in collaboration with human resources and nurse residency. Serve as a member of community and regional organizations. Participates actively as a member of Senior Leadership and serves on other councils, committees and task forces as appropriate to represent Nursing. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, vision and values. Five years of progressive leadership/supervisory responsibility required. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
