JPMorgan Chase Data Confidentiality & Records Management Manager in Westerville, Ohio

As a Data Manager, you will support the intake channels for the FCPS (Fraud and Consumer Protection Services organization). This includes call centers and digital channels that support Fraud Prevention and Claims, Disputes, and Recovery. This role is specifically aligned to the Business Support organization within the FCPS Inbound Call Center and is focused on mitigating risks through a strong controls environment. This employee will support risk mitigation by ensuring controls exist to resolve gaps from regulatory, financial and customer impact risk while also performing data security processes and strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to complete data security and retention processes; mitigating risks that pose regulatory, financial, and customer risk

  • Champion the records management process, providing oversight, and assisting in remediating data exceptions for the larger FCPS organization.

  • Partner with operational owners and control partners to develop key remediation strategies relating to user access, data retention, and personal information exposure.

  • Monitor the health of unstructured data environments, trends, and reporting, adjusting processes and resources accordingly.

  • Perform continual reviews of access and data within unstructured environments to confirm adherence to Data Confidentiality framework.

  • Lead access and data recertification processes; ensuring accuracy, completeness, business justification, risk level, and retention timeframes are correct.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Strong leadership, time and task management skills

  • Able to meet assigned service level agreement in a demanding environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Must have experience leading large-scale projects.

  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from large amount of data.

  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to tell a story using data.

  • Ability to work effectively across functional and organizational lines.

  • Host and manage meetings effectively with clear agendas and meeting materials, appropriate invitees, and timely meeting minute distribution including next step actions.

  • Experience with/knowledge of data management, data loss prevention frameworks, access controls and governance, and record management lifecycles.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects end-to-end, leading and driving projects that engage business leaders with minimal supervision. .
