OpTerra Energy Services Intern, Strategic Sourcing Analyst in Westminster, Colorado

What You Can Expect As our Intern, Strategic Sourcing Analyst you will support the ENGIE Renewables Engineering and Delivery team with broader Renewables Business Unit to support the procurement of key solar and energy storage equipment. You will get the opportunity to engage with suppliers to obtain commercial and technical information needed for vendor qualification & system design. This internship program spans three (3) months, running from June to August 2024 and report to the Sr. Manager Strategic Sourcing - Solar. Completion of the unified flash test database project to streamline data management, improve vendor oversight, and establish a clear wattage baseline for operations and asset management Establish an improved process for collecting key data for project managers in support of IE review Assist in administration of RFQ process with identified vendors, lead Purchase Order Processing and Management Monitor Vendor Delivery and Performance, Communication within Engineering & Project Management on order status with vendors to expedite delivery of order

What You'll Bring

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or at least a Junior in college pursing Business Administration Supply Chain, Engineering related field You possess the ability to create documents and recognize process improvements You can read and understand construction drawings and technical product specifications You have demonstrated the ability to be a self-starter and a team player, collaborating with others to optimize business processes You are proficient in advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Project You have a passion for renewable energy procurement, showing potential for development You possess excellent organizational and planning skills

Additional Details This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, consisting of with a minimum of two (2) days in the Denver, CO office Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation Salary Range: $21.00-$25.00 USD hourly
