Position Summary:

The Business Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in collaborating with business units and Business Intelligence (BI) teams to ensure analytical platforms provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. This position focuses on developing reporting solutions to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide analytical support to leadership. The Business Analytics Manager leverages data from unified environments to create meaningful, visually engaging presentations that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and results-oriented, capable of guiding complex projects from conception to completion. In addition to providing technical leadership, the Business Analytics Manager translates diverse business requirements into actionable plans and ensures timely delivery of solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cohesive approach to data analytics and reporting across the organization, providing guidance to analysts across business functions.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering key analytical findings and actionable recommendations to leadership.

  • Analyze data to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities, presenting insights to business audiences to enhance products and processes.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and tools to address organizational challenges and meet stakeholder needs.

  • Provide thought leadership in data visualization, designing and delivering impactful static queries and visual reports.

  • Collaborate with business units and product teams to gather reporting requirements, ensuring solutions align with or exceed business expectations.

  • Understand stakeholders’ objectives, key performance metrics, and success criteria to deliver targeted analytical solutions.

  • Effectively communicate project direction, priorities, and status to team members, resources, and business sponsors.

  • Build strong working relationships with Managers, Directors, Executives, and cross-functional teams to drive collaboration.

  • Partner with data management, analytics, and technology teams to ensure data accessibility and integrity for analysis.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, identifying and utilizing relevant data sources.

  • Monitor and validate data integrity, supporting data management initiatives to maintain high-quality data.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with proven project management expertise.

  • Industry knowledge or experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or related sectors.

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.

  • Preferred proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related analytical field is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
