Westchester Jewish Community Services Assistant Residence Manager in White Plains, New York

Overview:

Join our team as a Full-Time Assistant Residence Manager! This position offers 40 hours per week in one of our group homes located in Westchester County, with a salary range of $18.00-$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting the Residence Manager in various tasks.

  • Supporting the overall operation of the community-based residence.

  • Perform duties and essential functions of the position of a Direct Support Professional (DSP).

  • Affirming the human rights, civil rights and responsibilities of the people you support.

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; two years of College preferred.

  • Valid Driver’s License for over two years is a must.

  • Two years’ experience working with persons with developmental disabilities and one-year supervisory experience.

  • Knowledge of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and health care conditions; knowledge of OPWDD Standards.

  • Knowledge of supervisory and administrative practices that promote team work and development of staff.
