Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in White River Junction, Vermont

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in White River Junction, Vermont. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, handling accounts receivable duties and maintaining accurate records. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial department.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the organization’s fundraising database, updating user profiles, settings, and providing necessary training to end-users.

• Maintain and revise lists in the database to facilitate gift entry and running reports, lists, and statistics.

• Accurately enter and track donations and dues in the database, including commitments and payments.

• Collaborate with the Finance team to reconcile gift entries.

• Manage donor acknowledgements and acknowledgement processes.

• Regularly identify and update missing, incomplete, and inaccurate data in the database in line with data hygiene standards.

• Track donor and partner updates through media and networks, and update donor records in the database.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Handle account reconciliation tasks and billing operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various tasks.

• Execute cash applications and manage non-profit accounting operations.

• Perform numerical data entry tasks. Requirements

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel financial tasks

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and account reconciliation

• Familiarity with billing procedures and cash applications

• Knowledge of non-profit accounting and grant management

• Experience in data entry, particularly numeric data entry

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of finance and accounting.
