ClearStream Energy Electrician in Whitecourt, Alberta
We are hiring Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians for a construction project at our client site. There is potential to come back and work at this client site on future scopes of work.
This position is based on a client site in Whitecourt, AB. This position is expected to start on April 17th, and it could run until May 12th. The work schedule is planned to be straight through. There is LOA, mob/demob, and daily travel pay available for this position.
What would you be doing?
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts.
Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators.
Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Does this sound like you?
Have a Journeyperson Electrician card or Apprentice Electrician ticket.
Valid and up to up-to-date tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, TDG and WHMIS.
Have high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets, and employees.
Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Perks of the job
Jouneyperson Employee rate: $41.
Journeyperson DSP rate: $50.
There is a potential truck rate for DSPs who run their own truck.
8 hours regular time, 2 hours overtime, and 2 hours of travel time (regular rate)per day.
Benefits after 300 hours worked.
Other important details
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
