We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Wirerope Works team! As a Rope Mill Labor you will be responsible for various tasks in the wire rope production. Key Responsibilities:

Assist machine operators as required.

• Assist lining up strand/wire bobbins for all machines.
• Assist removing strand/wire bobbins for all machines.
• Assist with strand/wire bobbin changes for all machines.
• Assist with back-ups for all machines.
• Assist in gear changes for all machines.
• Obtain needed equipment for all machines.
• Remove scrap wire from bobbins as required.
• Place welders and hoists in proper position.
• Assist with housekeeping for all machines.
• Other helper duties as assigned.

Physical Requirments:

• Lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds-Frequently.
• Push/pull exerting up to 75 pounds (suspended load)-Occasionally.
• Reaching overhead-Frequently.
• Walking-Frequently.
• Standing-Frequently.
• Climbing-Occasionally.
• Kneel/Squat-Occasionally.
• Working at waist level or above Frequently.
• Twisting/turning at waist-Continuously.
• Stooping/bending at waist-Frequently.

Work Conditions:

Inside work in a noisy, dirty, industrial environment. Temperatures range from 40 to 100 degrees.

Equipment:

Pliers, cutters, overhead hoists, lift trucks, cut-off saws, scrap winding equipment and other equipment as required.

Knowledge/Training:

Machine operation helpful. Training is provided.
