WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LEAD MANAGER ORDER TO CASH

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

FUNCTION: Finance – Treasury

LOCATION: Winston-Salem, NC

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This key role is responsible for managing over $21 billion of order to cash operations for all of Reynolds’ (RAI) subsidiaries. This includes completing credit and collections policies, processes, and standard methodologies as it relates to the resolution of past due balances, order release, cash/credit resolution, and coordinating customer dispute resolution of trade receivables. This position regularly interacts with accounting, treasury, field trade reps, wholesale operations, and logistics teams along with our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Manage the order to cash operations for RAI’s operating companies that collect and process over $80 million per day (20k invoices/month) for domestic and international sales

  • Oversee the monitoring and reviews of the aging schedules and financials of customers. Perform financial analysis of customers to establish the appropriate credit terms. Responsible for the cash application and reconciliation of payments to customer accounts daily

  • Ensure payments are processed timely to avoid delays in shipments. Oversee the balance sheet reconciliations and sub-ledgers. Provide analysis and reports for the quarterly and year-end deferred revenue recognition accounting

  • Perform activities that facilitate a timely and accurate processing of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing and report distribution. Responsible for review and approval of SAP BW sales exception reports on monthly basis, taking action on discrepancies

  • Own the credit master file information to ensure proper banking and customer information. Exercise sound credit decisions on customer order release based on established policies, procedures, and standard methodologies

  • Maintain a working knowledge of customer requirements, such as, customer contracts, letters of agreement, special terms, discounts, and other information relative to customer accounts while exercising sound judgments, related research, and resolution of customer inquiries or disputes

  • Build and maintain a collaborative working relationship with the wholesale operations team. Responsible for the task level descriptions that govern the process performed by GBS team members

  • Responsible for the service level agreement with GBS for the order to cash process. Global sanctions compliance expert and approver

  • Lead departmental meetings, provide coaching and managerial support. Own SOX and Business Continuity processes for order to cash

  • Deliver and manage ad hoc order to cash projects as needed

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related area required.

  • Strong finance and analytical skills with at least 3 years of experience

  • Must possess an ability to make quick decisions and use sound judgment.

  • Must be a strategic problem solver with strong influencing and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated excellent PC skills and detailed knowledge of MS Office.

  • Must be detail oriented, reliable, and financially responsible.

  • Must possess a high sense of urgency and work ethic.

  • A self-starter who can work with minimal direct supervision, with the expectation of working as a motivated and cooperative team member.

  • Proven track record to challenge the status quo.
