Responsibilities

Operate a forklift in a secure manner, including loading and unloading materials from various types of vehicles and outdoor storage areas regardless of weather conditions. Understand and follow instructions to select, load, and unload products according to pick documents and bills of lading. Adhere to Logistics Standard Operating Procedures, maintain warehouse inventory systems, and ensure proper inventory rotation following FIFO principles. Verify the accuracy of incoming finished goods and raw materials. Provide customer service to both customers and transportation providers. Capable of safely lifting, carrying, and stacking bundles of roofing shingles weighing 50LBS. Perform general housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks as required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 4 hours at one time
