MT OLYMPUS WATER & THEME PARK Pool Maintenance Technician in WISCONSIN DELLS, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Repairing of equipment and materials -Upon successful completion of training, become certified pool operator -Ensure the safety of guests providing a safe and fun environment at all pool locations by maintaining water quality and cleanliness. -Meeting and greeting pool guests -Clearing pool deck of used towels, lifejackets, trash, vacuuming pool, and water quality readings -Verifying the equipment in the pump room is functioning correctly, ability to work in a loud environment -Partner with Engineering/Maintenance regarding pump maintenance -Enforce policies, rules and regulations of the recreation locations -Power washing, cleaning, getting pools assembled to open, painting Pool Maintenance Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, preferred A USA valid driver\'s License Required Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. Align and balance new equipment after installation. Assemble boilers at installation sites, using tools such as levels, plumb bobs, hammers, torches, or other hand tools. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. Design new equipment to aid in the repair or maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, or building structures. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of residential or commercial buildings. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Test and treat water supply. Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Hotel Maintenance position requires a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve on the go. This role requires a high degree of operational skills. Maintenance employees work with our guests, and must possess good interpersonal skills. The ability to work hand in hand with your co-workers, other departments, and management to achieve the ultimate goal, a satisfied customer, is necessary for this job.
