The Billing & Collections Manager will provide administrative management duties across all departments and oversee the day-to-day needs of the business to help empower teammates and provide an excellent customer experience.

Founded in 2020, SkyTrac Access Group is a leading provider of suspended scaffolding and access equipment and solutions for the construction industry at large. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, transparency and accountability.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate the implementation of billing and collections policies and procedures.

  • Oversee the billing team (processing cycle billing, rental and sales invoices), including billing submission for installation projects (AIA/Contractual billing).

  • Act as the collections officer for aging receivables.

  • Work alongside the accounting and sales team on customer account management, including invoice disputes and account reconciliations.

  • Communicate and liaise with legal department on liens and bankruptcy filings.

  • Communicate and act as a liaison between sales representatives and customers.

  • Support the sales and installations team by coordinating bids and insurance requests, both internally and externally, and manage contract kick-off submissions.

  • Oversee the records and filing system, both digitally and physically.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned and needed.

    Competencies

  • Accounting and AIA billing experience.

  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the organization and solve problems in advance, with experience and sensitivity in managing confidential information discreetly.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple urgent tasks effectively.

  • Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Suite.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

    Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.

  • Accounting and billing experience

  • At least five years’ experience in executive-level support and office administration.

    Preferred Education and Experience

  • Spanish language competence is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in a construction company is highly ideal.
